ABOUT US
A LOVE OF EATING
We would like to thank Ted turner for bringing us together. Me and my wife Dana met while working together at Ted's Montana Grill, and with our love of food and thirst for new knowledge we came together and are now Mr. Orlan and Ms. Dana Rose. Everyone wants a piece of the American pie, and we know how hard it is to come by. We just want our own patch of land so that maybe we can have a farm. Hence, Penny Patch. We want to invite people to our land to dine on produce grown by us, and taste our ideas. We also know that goals may not be achieved unless you're doing something you love, consistently.
Cooking is a huge passion for us as we love to eat, a lot. We are not chefs but cooks who have taken inspiration throughout the years from chefs in the restaurants we've worked in, to learning from cookbooks of your favorite chefs. We of course get most of our inspiration from family, but that doesn't stop us from trying new things. We also create a lot of new dishes, and that sparked the idea of dinners and started in 2020 when we were grilling in the park.
Most people don't want to plan themed friends events but do want to throw them. So we plan a themed dinner every month. All of our dinner parties are ticketed events. If you like the theme we are offering for the month and would like to host a party of your own with friends or family, the we will be more than happy to do so. Our menus are based around the seasons, so at the months end, so is the menu. If a dish can be made year round, then it probably will be; otherwise, patience is a virtue and everything comes back around. From catering, to meal prep, to private dining, and feeding the crew on the film set, we are here for you with flavors that set us apart from the rest. Our favorite thing to hear is "Cook whatever you want", as this allows our creativity to shine. I hope we get the chance to create a unique personal dining experience for you.
